Mogadishu Hosts Awareness Meeting to Boost National Unity, Security, and Preparations for National Week Celebrations

The Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali, participated last night in an awareness meeting with citizens in Shangani District in the capital, Mogadishu. The meeting is part of ongoing government efforts to strengthen communication with the public and raise awareness on key national issues.
The discussion focused on preparations for the upcoming National Week celebrations, as well as ways to enhance security and stability in the capital to ensure a safe environment during the national events.
The meeting was attended by members of the Federal Parliament, the Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Mungab), the Deputy Governor for Social Affairs, along with other officials and representatives of various civil society groups.
Participants emphasized the importance of national unity, strengthening social cohesion, and supporting government efforts in development and state-building.
The meeting concluded with a call for continued coordination between government institutions and local communities to ensure the success of upcoming national events and to further promote peace and stability in Mogadishu and across the country.
