Somali Minister of Religious Affairs Inspects Pilgrims’ Camps in Mina Ahead of Hajj Rituals
The Somali Hajj delegation continues its intensive field supervision this year as part of efforts to ensure the comfort and well-being of Somali pilgrims in the Holy Lands. In this context, , the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, conducted an inspection visit to the camps designated for Somali pilgrims in Mina, Makkah.
During the visit, the minister reviewed the level of preparations and services provided to the pilgrims, including accommodation, food services, healthcare, and overall organization within the camps. He also received detailed briefings from supervisors and officials regarding the progress of operations and arrangements for this year’s Hajj season.
Minister Mukhtar Robow emphasized the importance of providing Somali pilgrims with safe, comfortable, and well-organized conditions, stressing the need to intensify efforts to ensure that pilgrims can perform their religious duties smoothly and peacefully.
He further praised the efforts of the organizing committees and field teams working tirelessly to serve the pilgrims, calling for continued coordination and cooperation to guarantee the success of this year’s Hajj season.
The visit comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing field follow-ups aimed at monitoring the conditions of Somali pilgrims in the Holy Lands and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services throughout the pilgrimage period.
