Somali Parliament Speaker Meets Saudi Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Somali Federal Parliament Speaker Abdulqadir Mohamed Nur Jama received Saudi Ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mowalled at his office in Mogadishu on Wednesday to discuss ways to strengthen the historic and brotherly ties between Somalia and Saudi Arabia.

The two sides discussed expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors in a way that serves the interests of both nations. The Saudi ambassador also congratulated Abdulqadir Mohamed Nur on his election as Speaker of the Federal Parliament.

The Speaker expressed his deep appreciation to the Saudi government for its continued support to the Somali government and people, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
